Check out this article from Memphis showing Dan Lardinois from the city of Green Bay cutting a section of the original Zippin Pippin track to bring to Green Bay. None of the original parts will be used in the new version of the Zippin Pippin roller coaster; however, many of the parts, including the original trains, will be coming to Green Bay and will hopefully be displayed near the new version of the Zippin Pippin.
The line at the end of the article is really great. Apparently Mayor Schmitt has offered free rides on the new Zippin Pippin Roller Coaster to any Memphis residents who travel to Green Bay.
